Muenchrathlaw, LLC, is the longest continuously running law office in the City of Coquille and the second oldest office in Coos County. The practice began as Berg and Berg and then became Berg, Berg and Walsh in 1959 when now retired attorney Al Walsh joined the practice. Later, Mr. Walsh continued the practice as a solo practitioner. In 2001, Matt Muenchrath began practicing law with Mr. Walsh who then retired in 2006. Amy Muenchrath joined the firm in 2012. Presently, the Muenchrathlaw, LLC includes attorneys Amy Muenchrath and Scott Culpepper.

Amy is a 1997 graduate of Willamette University College of Law. Amy activated her bar membership and joined the firm in 2012 as an associate attorney. Prior to that, Amy operated the Coos Family Law Resource Center, providing information to self-represented litigants in family law matters. In addition to being an active parent of three children, Amy volunteers as a member of the United Way of Southwestern Oregon Board.

Scott is a 2017 graduate of the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. Scott previously worked as a Coos County Deputy District Attorney and brings experience in domestic, family, and civil rights law such as expungements and gun right restorations. Scott’s passion is litigation and being your advocate in front of courts and juries.
